Despite it being a duplex, I approached the two spaces as one, where all the parts are lived and enjoyed.
The living room is a beautiful space where everybody get together to enjoy family time, but also where everyone has his own space.
We created a contemporary urban oasis with simple lines and light colors mixed with natural materials and rich textures. To give a comfortable family common place in the living room, the already-built stairs helped to create a box with multiple functions.
An amazing terrace in the second floor spanned the entire house. To make it completely independent we included a bar, BBQ zone and a shower. Two big aluminium ceilings, designed by Arquimsa, provide cover from the sun and the humidity of the Peruvian capital. To make space for the columns of these two porches, we had to move the rails from the floor to the low wall. Big modern self-regulating planters from Lechuza helped us to give privacy to the hall area.
