As we know, a restaurant is more than just food and service. Environment is key. My clients bought an architectural jewel from 1900: this republican house in the district of Barranco, Lima, had different owners and ended being a restaurant in the 80’s. A lot of additions from all those years formed a big mess that hide the beauty of the house. The cleaning process was long and hard.
The central idea was to live under the trees, so the clients could enjoy both the terrace and the house from outside. We built lineal iron structures to place the bar and the big dining room.
Creating the concept of this new restaurant with a group of professionals was an incredible experience.
